ABOUT
Teresa’s Place Adult Daycare Center, INC is a compassionate, community-based care center designed for adults with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other cognitive impairments. Founded by La Tanya Y. Owens, a former Assistant Principal turned full-time caregiver, our center was born out of lived experience and a deep belief in dignified, personalized care.
Unlike traditional institutions, Teresa’s Place provides 1-on-1 support in a safe, non-institutional setting, allowing families to keep loved ones at home while ensuring they receive expert-level attention during the day. We serve Glen Ellyn, IL, and surrounding communities with a mission to honor aging with purpose, empathy, and excellence.

We’re honored you’re considering Teresa’s Place Adult Daycare Center for your loved one’s care. Our center offers compassionate, personalized daytime support for adults living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and cognitive impairments. Use this form to schedule: A virtual or in-person tour of our facility A consultation to discuss individualized care plans Enrollment appointments or general information sessions Terms & General Info: All visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Consultations are free and typically last 30–45 minutes. Teresa’s Place does not currently offer overnight/respite stays. Families are encouraged to bring any relevant care documentation for discussion.
